After 30 1/2 years of service to the Village of Park Forest, Corporal Richard Oldenburg worked his last day in uniform on Tuesday, July 31st.  Corporal Oldenburg served in the US Marine Corps prior to becoming a police officer, and worked as a patrol officer before being promoted to the rank of Corporal.  Most recently, Corporal Oldenburg worked in an administrative position, including evidence control and municipal hearing management.  We extend a heartfelt congratulation to Corporal Oldenburg and his family, and wish him the best in his retirement.
